Interview with Ana Lúcia Gazzola
Ana Lúcia Gazzola was IESALC-UNESCO's Director for 2006-2008 period. Starting in September, 2008, she will be taken a leave of absence. Under her management, IESALC became the core of the debate on the development of higher education in Latin America and the Caribbean by gathering a net of collaborative technical and academic work that analyzed the main achievements and challenges of the higher education system in the region. The Declaration of the Regional Conference in Higher Education (CRES2008) and the Plan of Action are the results of IESALC's effort during this period. In this interview Ana Lúcia elaborates on IESALC's achievements and challenges ahead.
